Q: What made you engage with IS People ?

A: I’d been using an IT consultant for 16 years, and felt I was not getting the level of support I required.

The initial email correspondence from IS People interested me, and a visit to their website together with a subsequent meeting provided me with the confidence that they understood my needs and could provide the level of support I required at a competitive price.

Q: What services did you engage with IS People to carry out for you?

A: Network support, network improvement and preventative maintenance. Being the only UK IT resource for the company I required support for times when I am out of the office, and also someone I can discuss issues for which there doesn’t appear to be an obvious solution

Q: What services have they carried out for you to date?

A: Procurement of IT equipment (Dell Servers).
Assistance with various projects such as migration to a virtualised environment, network infrastructure upgrades, improvement of network security.

Q: How would you sum up your infrastructure?

A: 5 Servers, 60 PC’s running in a MS Windows Active Directory environment (UK network part of a Corporate Global setup)

Q: How would you describe IS People and your experience of them?

A: Extremely professional, knowledgeable and responsive. Feedback from staff here has been 100% positive.

Q: If you have used service providers in the past – how do IS People compare?

A: As previously mentioned, I had been using the same service provider for 16 years. It was a difficult decision to make since I perceived the changing of network security and the handover of information (which was not documented) to a new service provider would be onerous.

The meeting with IS People convinced me that the change would not be as difficult as I anticipated, the audit which they provide as part of their service would finally provide me with much needed more concise network documentation.

The previous service provider was contracted to be available in the event of problems. Unfortunately they were not pro-active in preventative maintenance so hours not used for solving problems were lost. Other than emergency support there was no real “added value”.

As highlighted above, since the IS People contract has been in place, they have provided not only valuable backup support but have actively assisted with a number of key IT initiatives.

I would not hesitate in recommending them to others.
